What is Software Localization?

Software localization is a process that goes way beyond a mere translation. It is the adaption of the User Interface and any related documentation of a software application to the language, culture and outlook of the users in the countries or regions where the software or application will be marketed.A properly localized software application is able to provide an enhanced user experience in multiple regions. This can translate into more active users, better reviews, more downloads and hence, more potential revenues.

The Software Localization Process

  • Localization

    During this stage, our translators begin the localization and translation processes, transferring the text into the target foreign language. Use of reference material provided for terminology and glossaries that the customer may have supplied forms an essential cornerstone of this step in the process. Our translators typically have a minimum of three to five years of experience in translating texts into another language and often specialize in a particular field of expertise


  • Proofreading and Editing:
  • This additional two-step review process ensures an error-free, well written final piece for you to use as you wish. We offer this service whether you are having something translated or not and can do it for English as well as for other languages.

  • Transcription
  • Transcription is the process of converting recorded speech into text format. From conferences and interviews to video clips and telephone calls, we can produce a written version of your audio in any language.


  • Interpreting:

    Interpreting, or spoken translation, helps you to communicate face-to-face with speakers of other languages. We can organize interpreting for all your events, from conferences and meetings to courses and seminars. We can also provide remote interpreting via conference call or Skype.

  • - Voice-over & Subtitling:

    We provide subtitling and voiceovers to make your multimedia more accessible to other markets. Deliver your message with a supporting translation or use the power of voice to express important information to your customers, wherever they may be.
